Followed by the massive success of the 2019 action science fiction flick ‘iSmart Shankar’, the creators are all set to release its sequel ‘Double iSmart’. The upcoming action comedy-drama movie features the first instalment star Ram Pothineni and the Bollywood veteran actor Sanjay Dutt. Double iSmart Release Date

One of the most awaited movies of 2024, ‘Double iSmart’ is all set to hit the theatres across India on August 15, 2024. The Telugu language movie will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The OTT release date and platform are yet to be announced.

The action comedy movie ‘Double iSmart’ features a stellar cast led by Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt and supported by actors including Kavya Thapar, Bani J, Sayaji Shinde, Mohammad Ali, Getup Srinu, Makrand Deshpande, Andrey Kasushkin, Koushik Mahata, Tofan Pirani, Ravindra Pratap Singh Ricky, Temper Vamsi, and Sundeep Verma.

The movie has been written, directed and co-produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmy Kaur under the Puri Connects banner. The movie’s music has been composed by Mani Sharma. The cinematography is by Gianni Giannelli and Shyam K Naidu while Balaji Muppalla manages the visual effects, Anil Paduri is the visual effects supervisor, and Karthika Sreenivas R is the editor.

Double iSmart Plot

‘Double iSmart’ narrates the story of a Big Bull embodied by Sanjay Dutt who wishes to be immortal. To turn his dreams into reality, he performs a brain transfer experiment. He does the brain transplant on Ram Pothineni’s character whose romantic interest has been enacted by Kavya Thapar.
