Adding another feather to the post-COVID Bollywood movies era, ‘Vedaa’ is all set to hit the theatres. The John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer action drama thriller Hindi language movie is directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment.

Vedaa Release Date
Earlier scheduled to release on July 12, 2024, the release date for ‘Vedaa’ has now shifted to August 15, 2024. This happened after the delayed issue of certificate and clearance from the CBFC as mentioned in an Instagram post shared by director Nikkhil Advani.

The upcoming action thriller ‘Vedaa’ boasts a stellar cast including John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh in the lead roles while Abhishek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, Richard Bhakti Klein, Kshitij Chauhan, Abhishek Deswal, Mahadev Singh Lakhawat, Kapil Nirmal, and Sanam Zeya will grace the movie as the supporting cast.

Vedaa Plot
‘Vedaa’ is the story of a young girl Vedaa belonging to the marginalised and oppressed section of society. The movie steers through her traumatic life experiences and how she overcomes her adversities through immense bravery with the help of the only man she can trust - her saviour. This parallely also showcases how helping Vedaa fight back against injustice, brought the man in touch with his lost self.

After years of hiatus and failed movies, John Abraham seems to be returning with full force. The current national crush Sharvari Wagh has done an impeccable job supporting John’s character and adding her individuality. With intense and exceptional performances by the lead cast and Abhishek Banerjee, the movie has something interesting in store for us.
‘Vedaa’ trailer has given a peak into the movie’s storyline by intensely showing the grave issue of the caste system and untouchability, existing even today. Wagh’s character emerges as the true epitome of feminism with valour and an unwavering aura to fight evil.
