The film also features Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte.

Jaane Jaan (2023)

Kareena Kapoor marked her OTT debut with this thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Inspired by Keigo Higashino’s The Devotion of Suspect X, this Netflix movie showcases a single mother caught in a murder investigation. Her reclusive neighbour, a maths teacher, steps in to help her escape the relentless police.

7 Khoon Maaf (2011)

Director Vishal Bhardwaj, known for adapting classics, turned the short story Susanna’s Seven Husbands by Ruskin Bond into a movie. Bond expanded the original four-page story into an 80-page novella at the director's request, forming the basis of the script for 7 Khoon Maaf. The film follows Susanna (Priyanka Chopra) on her quest for love, which tragically leads to the mysterious deaths of her husbands. You can watch this movie on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
