Brace yourselves, Bollywood fans! The trailer for Pooja Entertainment's upcoming action flick, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ has arrived, promising a wild ride packed with action, laughs, and a whole lot of star power.
A New Chapter In Buddy Cop Films
This film isn't a remake of the classic 1998 ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ but it does borrow the title and the buddy-cop concept. While the original starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda as hilarious police partners, this time around, Akshay Kumar (Akshay Kumar Receives Indian Citizenship On Independence Day) and Tiger Shroff team up as elite soldiers. Prithviraj Sukumaran portrays the enigmatic antagonist, adding depth to the gripping narrative.
A Villain With A Big Plan (And A Big Gun)
The trailer opens with a bang, introducing the villain, a mysterious figure known only as ‘Pralay’ (meaning "apocalypse" in Hindi). Clad in a menacing mask and wielding a massive weapon, Pralay steals a powerful AI weapon from the Indian armed forces. With the fate of the nation hanging in the balance, there's only one team up to the task of retrieving it, Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan.
The trailer is packed with action, showcasing the two heroes cracking jokes Hum dono ek dusre ke liye jaan de sakte hain, par ek dusre ki jaan le bhi sakte hain (We can kill for each other, but we can also kill each other, they declare at one point), performing daring stunts, and engaging in thrilling gunfights and car chases. However, things take a turn when the trailer hints at a falling out between the two. Will they be able to put aside their differences and work together to save the day? The answer remains a mystery, leaving audiences eager to find out more.
