Antibacterial soaps, that contain triclosan, are no more effective at killing germs than is regular soap. Using antibacterial soap might even lead to the development of bacteria which are resistant to the product's antimicrobial agents. Thi smakes it harder to kill the germs. Anticbacterial soaps come in differ5ent forms including liquid, foam and gel hand soaps, bar soaps, and body washes.
Use soap and water but always wet your hands with runnin water. Apply liquid, bar or powder soap to a cupped hand nd make it lather well. Rub your hands, palm to palm, vigorously for at least 20 seconds. Do not forget to scrub the backs of your hands, wrists, between your fingers and under your fingernails. Rinse well. Dry your hands with a clean towel and use the towel to turn the fauct after use.

Alcohol-based hand sanitizers, which don't require water, are an acceptable alternative when soap and water aren't available. However, make sure that the sanitiser has at least 60 percent alcohol. Apply enough of the product to the palm of your hand to wet your hands completely. Rub your hands together, covering all surfaces, until your hands are dry.
Encourage your children to wash hands frequently. Wash your own hands with your child there to show the kid how it is done. As know, kids pick up fast. To prevent them from rushing, suggest washing hands for as long as it takes to sing the "Happy Birthday" song twice or any other song they love a lot (not filmy please). Many times they cannot reach the sink because of their height, so you can awlays place a step stool and make it easier for them.
Alcohol-based hand sanitisers are ok to use for children but always supervise the young when using the alcohol based santiser. If it gets consumed by mistake it can lead to alcohol poisioning. Keep the bottle safely and out of reach from the children.
