This fish is available in many parts of India and is extremely tasty. It has amino acids which help in promoting growth and maintaining the muscle tissue mass. Rawas is Indian salmon which helps in maintaining our metabolism promoting weight loss. However, it is advised that you have no more than 170 grams of Rawas in a week.

Indian Mackerel also called Bangda is rich in Omega 3 and Selenium. These two sources are good for our cardiovascular health. This fish helps us in lowering blood pressure, it reduces cholesterol and even enhances eyesight. Good for weight loss, bangda is reasonably priced as well.

This fish has a lot of proteins and is super delicious as well.

 

Rani

This fish is also known as Pink Perch or Rani which is a common freshwater fish in India. It is small in size and has mild taste post cooking. It is not at all oily and is known as a lean fish. If you want to lose weight then stock up on Rani fish.
