The study found out that increasing fibre daily in your diet can help you reduce 100 calories.

Researchers at Tufts University in Massachusetts made two groups during research. Both the groups were given equal energy diet but the only difference was that the grain source varied for both the groups. One group was provided with whole grain, that is, brown rice and brown wheat while the other group was provided with white rice and refined white flour. One was provided with high fiber diet while the other was given low fiber.

Research Result

The result of the research concluded that the metabolism of the group which was consuming whole grain grew faster and the calorie was being burnt. There was also low absorption of calorie among participants in this group. Weight, metabolism rate, blood glucose, calorie, hunger were noted during the research period. There was no difference in both the groups in hunger and diet satisfaction.

During the research, it was also found that along with whole grain, high fiber diet, around 85 grams for women and 113 grams for men reduce the body of 100 calories. A body can lose up to 700 calories by following the instructions.
