Tata Housing Scholarships For Meritorious Girl Students

This scholarship program accepts the applications of female students who want to pursue professional and technical education. It takes into account women from economically weaker sections dreaming to study architecture, civil engineering, and other such courses.

The eligibility criteria require the applicant to be a female student who has scored more than 50% in the exams. She must be in the second year of pursuing a B.Tech or B. Arch degree and the family’s income must be less than ₹3,00,000 per annum. The program gives up to ₹60,000 to the selected students.

Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship

It is a scholarship program that extends to female students who are the only children of their parents. It was started to encourage parents to let their children study further. The selected applicants get monetary aid of ₹36,200 a year.

The eligibility criteria of the Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship program requires the candidate to be the only child of her parents. She must also be pursuing postgraduate courses.

The Sashakt Scholarship

The scholarship program aims at encouraging young women to pursue their careers without worrying about financial constraints. It wants to promote women to join the science and technology field.

Its eligibility criteria require the student to apply as soon as she finishes her class XII exams. It prefers applicants from rural and economically weaker backgrounds. The household income must be less than ₹5,00,000, and the selected candidate would be given financial assistance of up to ₹2,40,000 for three years.

Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program

Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program bears 60% (up to ₹60,000) of the annual fees until the student completes the course. For students in the special category, it can pay 80% (up to ₹1,00,000) of the annual fees. The financial aid depends on the academic performance of the applicant.

It is for girls students in India only and must be pursuing degrees in either Science or Finance field. She must have completed class 12 and secured 70% or above marks.

Internshala Scholarship

The Internshala Scholarship for girls offers annual financial assistance of up to ₹25,000 to the selected applicant. Indian female students between the age group of 17 and 23 are eligible to apply and benefit from it.

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship

This scholarship program (government scheme for women) is a scheme for girls belonging to minority communities. It is offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA), Government of India. The selected student gets financial support of ₹6,000.

Its eligibility criteria include female students from Sikh, Muslim, Jain, Christian, Parsi and Buddhist communities. She must be studying in classes nine to 12 and have secured at least 50% marks. Her annual family income should also be less than ₹2,00,000.
