In the latest development of the NEET paper leak case, the Maharashtra ATS has filed cases against four additional individuals. According to a report by India Today, one individual is reportedly from Delhi, while the remaining three are residents of Maharashtra. The Nanded Anti-Terrorism Squad detained Sanjay Tukaram Jadhav and Jalil Umarkhan Pathan, both educators from Latur, on suspicion of involvement in the scandal on Saturday.
They were initially questioned and released on Sunday morning but were subsequently re-apprehended along with two others: Iranna Mashnaji Kongalwar from Dharashiv district and a person named Gangadhar from Delhi.

NEET Paper Leak 2024: 4 Arrested In Maharashtra
So far, an FIR has been filed against four individuals in connection with this case: Sanjay Tukaram Jadhav, Jalil Umarkhan Pathan, Mashnaji Kongalbar, and Gangadhar. According to India TV, Gangadhar and Sanjay Tukaram Jadhav had direct connections, with financial transactions occurring between Gangadhar, who is reportedly from Delhi, and Sanjay Jadhav. Additionally, all these accused have been implicated based on the recovery of certain hall tickets during their interrogation by the ATS on Sunday, as well as evidence obtained from their WhatsApp conversations. It is alleged that they had also solicited hall tickets from numerous students, promising them exam success in return.
NEET Paper Leak 2024: 17 NEET-UG Candidates From Bihar Debarred
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has barred 17 candidates who appeared in the May 5 NEET-UG exam from Bihar centres due to malpractice. A total of 63 candidates have been debarred for malpractices. According to Hindustan Times, NTA has also debarred 30 candidates from centres in Godhra for similar reasons, as stated in their official statement.
NEET Paper Leak 2024: CBI Team Probes UGC-NET Paper
The Gujarat state government announced on Sunday its decision to transfer the investigation of an FIR concerning malpractices in the NEET UG - 2024 examination to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The FIR was lodged at the Godhra Taluka Police Station on May 8, 2024, subsequent to the exam held on May 5, 2024. The CBI is currently investigating this case.

NEET Paper Leak 2024: Six Arrested From Jharkhand
Six individuals arrested in connection with the UG NEET case were transferred from LNJP Hospital in Patna after undergoing medical examinations. They were apprehended by Bihar Police in Deoghar, Jharkhand, on June 21, 2024.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has decided to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG 2024), which was initially scheduled for June 23, 2024. This postponement has been implemented as a precautionary measure. The MoHFW announced this decision one day before the scheduled date of the 2024 edition of the postgraduate medical entrance examination. A new date for the NEET PG 2024 will be announced at a later time.
In the midst of ongoing controversies surrounding multiple significant examinations nationwide, such as NEET UG for undergraduate medical admissions, UGC NET for JRF and Assistant Professorship, PhD admissions, and CSIR NET for JRF, Assistant Professorship, and PhD admissions in Science subjects, the Ministry of Health has decided to initiate a reevaluation of the NEET PG examination process.
