Rujuta Diwekar shared some immunity-boosting foods one must add to their everyday diet. First, she talked about amla.

Amla works as an antioxidant and eradicates free radicals from the body. Consuming amlas daily can help you prevent damage from these free radicals.

Next, Rujuta Diwekar shares Haldi Doodh or turmeric milk. Turmeric or haldi which is one of the most commonly used ingredients in the Indian kitchen is an immunity-boosting ingredient. Turmeric has curcumin which has gives it anti baterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic properties. Drinking turmeric milk keeps health problems at bay. Drinking haldi doodh everyday before going to bed helps in improving the immune system.

Healthy Saunth, Gur And Ghee Balls

Do you know saunth (dried ginger powder), gur and ghee can boost your immunity too? These three ingredients can be mixed together to prepare small balls. These balls provide warmth to the body and keep common health problems like cold and cough at bay. You will need saunth (dried ginger powder), ghee and jaggery for the same. Powder these ingredients to form balls and have one everyday.

Rujuta Diwekar also suggested having a bath with neem leaves water to keep health issues at bay. Neem has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that prevent infections and many health problems.
