Bollywood celebs are crazy over beaches and Thailand is one place that all Indians treat like the Mecca of vacation destinations as it has something for everyone. The beautiful beaches lure us in especially when we want to escape the heat in India. We can well imagine ourselves sipping on chilled coconut water, sprawled on the beach chair, away from the hectic lives we have temporarily left behind. Starting from the recent celebs that had a beautiful time here was actor Shahid Kapoor and his family. Sairee Beach

This one-mile long beach is the longest stretch of sand on Ko Tao island. This island is also called the turtle island sometimes. Sairee Beach is located on the island’s west side and attracts a lot of snorkelers and scuba divers. It is a low key area but has some really cull night bars and clubs. This is your place if you want to experience the nightlife at a beach.  

Haad Rin

This beach is located on Ko Phangan island and is very famous for its Full Moon Party. Although not for everybody, this party is attended by a lot of young travellers from around the world. So you can well imagine the scenery of a beach in the backdrop with supersonic music and the party goers. Parties are held here every other day of course but the Full Moon Party is on a much larger scale not just on the Haad Rin beach but also on the streets of Haad Rin. If not party then this place is where you want to be to experience the sunrise and the mesmerising sunset. 

Lamai Beach

If you want to have a little laid back holiday then Lamai Beach is the place to be. It is located in Samui, the second biggest island in Thailand after Phuket. It is less crowded as compared to its neighbour Chaweng. The white sand is rather relaxing for those escaping madness at home.

Hua Hin Beach

Hua Hin Beach has something for everyone. Apart from the white sands, this beach has some great restaurants that offer authentic Thai food to visitors and that too at very affordable prices. Yes, it gets crazy during national holidays but otherwise, its a beautiful beach located on the western side of the Gulf of Thailand.

This gorgeous site on Ko Phi Phi Leh is famous for being the location of Leonardo DiCaprio’s film “The Beach". This is one sheltered bay, which has tall cliffs on its three sides. This is the place where you go for activities like diving and snorkeling.
