Health Benefits Of Cloud Coffee

Cloud coffee not only has a great taste, but many people prefer it over normal coffee due to its health perks. Replacing normal water with coconut water adds a tropical taste to it, along with the nutrient boost, especially for those looking to stay hydrated during summer.

“Mixing coffee with coconut water can make it a bit more hydrating thanks to coconut water’s electrolyte content,” Mackenzie Burgess, a registered dietitian nutritionist and recipe developer, told the Post. While it may vary from one brand to another, a cup of coconut water contains 470 mg of potassium and 19 mg of magnesium, which covers around 5% of daily needs.

“Overall, if you’re into the flavour, it’s a fun way to sneak a few extra nutrients into your morning drink," Burgess shared. She further explained, “Coconut water adds electrolytes to help with hydration, along with antioxidants that support immune health and help the body fight oxidative stress. It’s also a lighter, more hydrating alternative to sugary creamers."

For those who prefer a creamier texture, Burgess recommends a splash of unsweetened almond-coconut milk blend.
