According to the legends, the Nageshwarnath Temple was made by Kush, Lord Ram’s son. He had lost his amulet in the Saryu River and could not find it no matter what. That is when a Nag Kanya who was in awe of him had found it and won his heart. Kush made the temple in her memory. It is situated near Faizabad.

Treta Ke Thakur

Treta Ke Thakur is a famous temple in Ayodhya where you can see idols of Lord Ram, Sita Maiya, Lakshman, Hanuman, Bharat and Sugreev. It is believed that this temple was established on the same ground where Lord Ram performed Ashwamedha Yagna. The temple is only open once a year on Ekadashi for the public for 24 hours. It is situated along Naya Ghat.
