Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, Gujarat is one of the largest Hindu temples in India. It features 97 carved pillars, 17 domes, 264 sculpted figures, 220 stone beams and 8 balconies. This beautiful temple was constructed by around 1000 artisans. It is known to be the abode of Lord Swaminarayan and was built with 6000 metric tons of pink sandstone.
2. Dwarkadhish Temple
Dwarkadhish Temple is commonly known as Trilok Sundar Mandir or Jagat Mandir which is situated in the Dwarka city of Gujarat. This beautiful temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is considered to be over 2500 years old. It is also considered to be one of the most sacred places for visiting Lord Krishna devotees to seek inner peace and ask for God’s blessings.
3. Somnath Temple
Somnath temple is known as one of the oldest temples in Gujarat and is also one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is believed that initially the temple was constructed in gold by the Moon God, then rebuilt in silver by Ravana, then in wood by Lord Krishna, and finally in stone by King Bhimdev. The temple has Chalukya architectural style. This temple is visited by a lot of devotees every year.

4. Ambaji Temple
The Ambaji Temple located in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat is one of the most famous heritage sites in India. It is located 185 km from Ahmedabad along the border between Gujarat and Rajasthan. Millions of followers come here to witness important festivals celebrated in this temple every year.

The Kalika Mata Temple situated in New Dhrewad, Gujarat belongs to the Maitraka period. As a result of its shikhara (spire), which has a neo-Dravidic subtype, M. A. Dhaky and Nanavati categorised the architecture of this temple as Vimanakara type. This particular place and its surrounding areas are popular among travellers, adventure-seeking trekkers as well as devotees who travel to seek Goddess Mahakali’s blessings whose temple is on top of the Pavagadh Hill. The temple is also inscribed as the Monument of National Importance by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
