Dhanshika went on to appear in films like ‘Maranthen Meimaranthen’ and ‘Thirudi,’ and even made a brief foray into Kannada cinema with ‘Kempa,’ where she was credited as Thanushika. Her major breakthrough came in 2009 with the action film ‘Peranmai,’ directed by Jananathan and co-starring Jayam Ravi, according to IMDb.

Tamil actors Vishal Krishna and Sai Dhanshika are all set to tie the knot this August. The couple officially confirmed their relationship during a press conference for Dhanshika’s upcoming film ‘Yogi Da,’ held in Chennai on Monday, May 19, 2025.

While speaking to the media, Dhanshika revealed that although she and Vishal have been friends for over 15 years, their romantic relationship began only recently. She explained that they had not planned to announce the news at the event, but decided to go public after a news report about their relationship went viral earlier in the day.

“We had initially thought of maintaining our friendship façade in front of the media,” Dhanshika said, as per a video shared by X user ‘Trendsetter Bala.’ “But after the report surfaced, we felt there was no reason to hide it anymore.”
