Urvashi Rautela Hospitalised in Hyderabad, Suffers A Fracture On The Sets Of 'NBK 109': Reports

Urvashi Rautela recently flew to Hyderabad to shoot the third schedule of her upcoming Nandamuri Balakrishna's Telugu movie 'NBK 109' where she suffered a terrible fracture. According to several media reports, Urvashi was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she is currently getting good treatment. Reportedly, she was injured while shooting for an action sequence for the film.

During a press statement, Urvashi’s team said she suffered a terrible hip fracture and is currently undergoing treatment at a medical facility in Hyderabad. They also added that she was injured while filming a high-octane scene and has been in pain since then. According to them, Urvashi’s parents are furious at the filmmakers over her injury.

Urvashi Is Shooting For NBK 109 In Hyderabad

The K. S. Ravindra directed Telugu movie features a stellar cast including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Dulqueer Salman and Bobby Deol. Tentatively titled as NBK 109, the shooting for the movie started in November 2023. Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, the music in the film is given by Thaman S. The release date of the film hasn't been released yet.

According to media reports, Bobby Deol will be playing the role of antagonist in the movie. This will be Deol’s second venture in Telugu cinema after Pawan Kaluyan’s ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. The shooting of this movie is currently on hold as the actor was complaining about the Lok Sabha elections.

When Urvashi Rautela Praised Balakrishna

During an interview with HT, the ‘Sanam Re’ actress said some kind words for Balakrishna. She regarded him as a living legend and cult personality. "My equation with him is one of good faith and mutual respect because we bonded well as co-actors. He was also kind enough to be a part of my birthday celebrations earlier this year on sets. I have immense respect for him,” said Rautela.

Urvashi has been working in Hindi films since 2013. Last year, she made her debut in the Telugu cinema. She has many special numbers to her credit including Wild Saala from Akhil Akkineni-starrer Agent, Boss Party from Chiranjeevi-starrer Waltair Veerayya, and My Dear Markendeya from Sai Dharam Tej, Pawan Kalyan-starrer Bro.
