The song was released on Wednesday, December 6. Bobby Deol's entry song ‘Jamal Kudu’ was sung by Shabina, Abhikya, Aishwarya, and Meghna Naidu for the film ‘Animal’.

Meaning Of ‘Jamal Kudu’

According to internet sources, the song is written in the Iranian language and was composed by Iran's Hazareh Group. The filmmakers of the film ‘Animal’ recreated the song and used it in the background of Bobby Deol’s entry in the film. ‘Jamal Kudu’ is named after a traditional Iranian song, ‘Jamal Jamalu’.

The lyrics of this song loosely translate to mean ‘Oh my darling, don't play with my heart, you are leaving and I am going crazy.’

The gist of the first two lines of the song is a girlfriend asking her boyfriend to leave her. ‘Vay Siyah Zangi Delamo Nakon Khun Vay To Rafti Safar Shodam Cho Majnun’ means do not break the heart of the one with black eyes, you left me and I became a lost cause like Majnu. ‘Hala Jamal Jamalo Jamalo Jamalo Kudu Jamal Jamalo Jamalo Jamalo Kudu’ means let the beauty shine... While talking about the film, Deol told Filmfare, “I still remember, Sandeep had already found the music, a Persian song and he said that it will be played during my introduction, it’s a wedding sequence so it required dancing.”
