The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) recently acquired the services of Indian cricketer Suyash Sharma for Rs 2.60 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. The 21-year-old leg-spinner plays for the Kolkata franchise in the IPL and for the Delhi cricket team in domestic cricket. Suyash has played 11 games and picked up 11 wickets in his first IPL season. He played his last IPL match in May 2024 against Lucknow at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India.

RCB has signed up Suyash at the IPL 2025 mega auction for Rs 2.60 crore. Delhi Capitals made the opening bid for Suyash followed by Mumbai Indians and RCB, who ended up making the highest number of bids. Bengaluru concluded the bidding by winning and acquiring Suyash’s services.

Who Is Suyash Sharma?
Suyash was born on 15 May 2003 in Bhajanpura, Delhi. He made his debut in cricket at the age of 19 ahead of IPL 2023, making him one of the youngest players. He is yet to make his First Class and List A debut but has played for Delhi at the youth level. Primarily, he is a bowler but can also put a shift with the bat. He is a right-handed lower-older batsman with a frame of 5’10” feet and a body weight of around 65 kg.
