Actor Kangana Ranaut won in the Mandi constituency as the BJP candidate from Himachal Pradesh. She won her seat in the 18th Lok Sabha with 72,088 votes, defeating Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh.

Speculations about Ranaut's potential candidacy had been circulating for some time. In October 2022, she publicly stated her openness to contesting from Mandi if offered a ticket by the BJP. Krishan Kapoor won by a margin of 4,77,623 votes in Kangra, Ram Swaroop Sharma by a margin of 4,05, 459 in Mandi, Anurag Thakur with a margin of 3,99,572 in Hamirpur, and Suresh Kashyap with a margin of 3,27,515 in Shimla.
