NMACC Inauguration: Check Out The Biggest Celeb Moments At NMACC Launch

The past weekend saw one of the most star-studded events of the year with the official launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai on March 31, 2023. Bollywood as well as international celebrities including Zendaya, Tom Holland, Gigi Hadid and Priyanka Chopra along with Nick Jonas and daughter Malti, among others graced the pink carpet of the event in gorgeous outfits.

From Zendaya and Gigi Hadid arriving in saree to King Khan dancing to Pathaan’s title song, the three-day event has become the talk of the town with the celeb appearances, their outfits, interactions, paparazzi and other grand highlights.

Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) is a first-of-its-kind venue for the arts, which opened its doors in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex in October 2022. It promises to be a significant cultural monument which is dedicated to Nita M. Ambani, a businesswoman, philanthropist and longtime supporter of the arts.

The Jio World Centre, which is in the centre of India's financial and entertainment hub, is where the NMACC is located as well. It houses the nation's largest conference centre, retail hospitality establishments and more. The three-story structure will include facilities for both visual and performing arts. The Grand Theatre, The Studio Theatre and The Cube are three specifically designed performance venues. They were all built with cutting-edge technology to accommodate a variety of experiences, from private screenings and thought-provoking discussions to multilingual programming and international productions. The centre will also open The Art House, a four-story facility that will feature prominent artists from India and around the world.

As Ranveer Singh got Priyanka Chopra to dance on stage to their song from their film Dil Dhadakne Do, Gauri Khan is seen vibing to it amongst the audience on the second day of the three-day launch event.

Priyanka Chopra Hugs Karan Johar At NMACC

In a viral video, Johar is seen walking up to Chopra and the duo hug each other and had a long chat at the event.

This comes soon after the heated feud between Chopra and Khan in 2012 resurfaced following the former’s recent interview where she spoke about being “pushed to a corner” in Bollywood. Soon after the viral interview, Kangana Ranaut had taken to social media and said that Chopra was ‘banned’ by Johar from Bollywood due to her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan.

Sometime around 2012, during the shoots of Don, there were rumours of Chopra and SRK having an affair.
