It all started during Diljit’s Indore concert in early December when he gave a shoutout to Dhillon and Karan Aujla who are also having concerts in India. Reacting to this, Dhillon said during his Chandigarh concert that Diljit should unblock him first. Reacting to this accusation, The ‘Lover’ singer clarified by sharing a screenshot of his profile saying, “I never blocked you. Mere pange sarkaaran naal ho sakde aa…kalaakaran naal ni.” (My issues could be with the government…not with the artists).
Responding to this, Dhillon shared a cryptic note along with a screen recording that claims Diljit unblocked Dhillon after he called him out. He wrote, “I wasn’t planning on saying shit knowing everyone will hate on me anyways but at least we know what’s real and what’s not.” Dhillon also commented on how Diljit’s tickets are sold out in just 15 seconds so fans have to buy them at a higher price.
In a recent podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, the ‘With You’ singer stated “India mein abhi crisis aa jayega agar isi hisab se chalta raha (There’ll come a crisis in India if things go on like this). Artists are being unfair to their own fans in 15 seconds. Nothing is sold out). It’s all a way of marketing. Promoters ko ticket de dete hain. Their fans, ab unko wait for karna padta hai, aur higher price mein ticket khareedna padta hai, aur higher price mein ticket khareedna padta hai (They sell tickets to promoters. The fans have to wait and buy tickets at higher prices).
