Festive season has already begun and we all are super excited! The much-awaited season of the year is here and we all arepreparing to make it a great time. From decorating the house to visiting our loved ones to attending parties, there is so much to do! Surely, when you are doing all this, you get tired and at times ill too. When it is festivity time, you can’t just afford to get ill. Usually, during festive season, you are busy with a lot of things and it all affects your everyday routine and health too. Here are a few things that you should keep in mind:
- You may be attending too many parties all this time and you may end up drinking a lot of alcohol. Consumption of alcohol in excess is harmful for your health and during this time you should keep a check on your drinking.
- Too many late nights can affect your sleeping schedule. An 8-hour sleep is very important for you. Lack of sleep will affect your health and it will start showing on your face too.
- Talk about festivals and there comes greasy foods and sweets. Food is a big part of the festivities and you just can’t ignore it. But while you are enjoying it all, you can’t over indulge! Once you are done with binging on them during the festivals, you will notice weight gain. Sweets and fried foods make you gain weight. Eat them but in moderation.
- Amid all the festive preparations, don’t forget to keep yourself hydrated. Drink loads of water through the day. You will need loads of energy through the day to enjoy the celebrations and to keep the energy going, you need to fuel your body with lots of water.
- How can you not dress up yourself during the festival season? With your party dresses will go loads of makeup! Make sure you remove all your makeup before going to sleep as it can be really harmful for your skin. Remove your makeup completely once you reach back home.
What You Should Be Eating?
During this festive season, it is important to keep a check on your eating. You will crave for a lot of sweets and fried snacks during this time but make sure you eatthein moderation. Here is what you should be eating:
- Eat more fruits and vegetables during this time. You need your energy level to stay high and this is where your food works as your fuel. When you eat something as fresh as fruits and veggies, you have a natural glow on your face. Both fruits and vegetables are high in fiber and low on calories that makes them great for your health. Carry a banana or apple with you and munch it on the go. You can also carry a box of salad with carrots, cucumber, and beetroot.
- A lot of dry fruits will come along the upcoming festivals. This year just don’t pack and store them back. Dry fruits are really healthy for you and you should be consuming them a lot. Make a box of nuts. Add almonds, raisins, figs, walnuts, and cashews and munch them through the day.
- Drinking milk is a great way to keep your energy high during this festive period. Have a glass of milk everyday to keep your energy level high.
