The much-anticipated thriller The Lady Killer starring Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar has made its digital debut on the OTT streaming platform. The film, directed by Ajay Bahl, has had an unconventional journey from its quiet trailer release to its unexpected OTT release.

The Lady Killer hit cinemas on November 3, 2024, but on a very limited number of screens across the country, making it difficult for many to catch it on the big screen. However, fans can now watch the film for free on YouTube, as it is available without any rental or pay-per-view restrictions.

The Lady Killer tells the story of a chemist who finds himself in deep trouble after getting involved with a mysterious woman. The film has been praised for its intense and raw portrayal of a love story, with director Ajay Bahl revealing that it hit cinemas despite not being fully completed.
Despite the star power of Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar, The Lady Killer had a shocking box office performance. According to trade tracker portal Sacnilk, the film earned only Rs 38,000 at the box office, making it the lowest opener of Bhumi and Arjun's careers.
In an interview, Arjun Kapoor opened up about his preparation for the film and how it impacted his emotional and mental well-being. He said, "The Lady Killer is something else. I have given a lot to that film. Mentally and emotionally, the film has been intense and raw for Bhumi and me. It is very real in that sense, as a love story. That's why I went on vacation after that. I shot for about 45 days for that film and went away on a break. I needed to get out of that space."
