Here, we unveil a compilation of six characters from ‘Stranger Things’ whom we don't anticipate encountering in the ultimate season of the show.

Eddie Munson

Eddie Munson's valiant sacrifice in 'Stranger Things 4' marked a poignant conclusion to his character's storyline. Renowned for confronting challenges, Eddie bravely and honourably gave up his life to safeguard Hawkins. While online discussions speculate the potential return of his character in an 'undead' form, there is no confirmation about Joseph Quinn's presence in season 5. Notably, Quinn was noticeably absent from the franchise's released main cast photo, indicating a slim or unlikely chance of his character making a return.

Argyle

Eduardo Franco, recognised for his portrayal of Argyle in ‘Stranger Things,’ has made it clear in a recent interview on the Steve Varley Show that he won't be returning for the final season. He disclosed that he never got a call regarding his participation in the upcoming season. Despite acknowledging the support and concern from fans, Franco confirmed his departure by stating, as reported by News 24, "I never received a phone call, so that seems to be the situation."

Dr. Martin Brenner

Actor Matthew Modine is expressing hope for an unexpected return in ‘Stranger Things Season 5,’ mirroring his surprise appearance in Season 4. Despite Dr. Brenner being officially killed off in Season 4, with show creators hinting at his permanent demise, Modine remains enthusiastic about the prospect of returning to the series. Unfortunately, his absence from the poster, combined with the statement declaring his character 'dead for good,' diminishes the likelihood of his return.

In a previous interview with RadioTimes.com, he said as per News24, “I hope that there's some way to resuscitate Dr. Brenner and put him in season 5 because it would be wonderful to be part of the last season. Well, we didn't see him dead, he was just lying there in the dirt. He's survived the Demogorgon, he survived Vecna in episode 1 of season 4.”

Suzie

Despite facing criticism for supposedly being the reason behind Hopper's fate in ‘Stranger Things,’ Dustin's girlfriend Suzie, played by Gabriela Pizzolo, has proven to be a key asset, saving the day on two occasions. In the third season, she provided Planck's constant as the password to shut down the machine creating a gateway to the Upside Down. In the fourth season, Suzie assisted Mike, Jonathan, Will, and Argyle in using the internet to locate Eleven. Pizzolo's exceptional performance, notably in ‘The Never Ending Story’ duet with Dustin, adds to the character's appeal. While it would be ideal to see Suzie return for the final season, Pizzolo's absence from the main cast photo raises uncertainties. If she were to return, considering her limited roles in the last two seasons, Pizzolo might be included as a recurring cast member for season 5.
