Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the movie is a biography of Srikanth Bolla. His inspirational story, from a physically disabled boy in a small town to the founder of Bollant Industries, is beautifully showcased by talented actor Rajkummar Rao. The movie was released in theatres on May 10, 2024, but it received moderate success at the box office. Two months later, it has now made its OTT release on July 5, 2024, on the popular platform Netflix.

Srikanth OTT Release: Plot & Cast

The 2-hour, 14-minute-long movie passes by very quickly as audiences get immersed in the inspiring journey of Srikanth Bolla. The biography revolves around Bolla’s struggle as a small-town boy in Andhra Pradesh who was born blind and faced bullying and other obstacles from his childhood days in school till adulthood. Rajkummar Rao plays Srikanth Bolla and beautifully portrays his life from being rejected by top Indian schools to getting support from his mentor Devika, played by Jyothika, and finally becoming MIT's first-ever visually impaired international student.

However, that’s just the beginning. In the later half of the movie, we see Srikanth Bolla’s love story with his girlfriend Veera Swati, played by Alaya F, and how finally he makes his dreams come true by setting up Bollant Industries, which employs unskilled and differently-abled individuals to make eco-friendly products.

The movie also has special appearances by Jameel Khan, who portrays APJ Abdul Kalam, and Sharad Kelkar, who plays the role of Ravi Mantha.
