2. ‘Resident Playbook’

‘Resident Playbook’ is a spinoff of the popular Korean drama ‘Hospital Playlist’ which follows the lives of first-year OB/GYN residents as they face the ups and downs of becoming doctors, both in and out of the hospital. Creator Shin Won Ho explained the choice of setting, saying, “We wanted to heighten the focus by centering on obstetrics and gynecology while covering stories from both fields to bring a fresh perspective. Among all the departments in a hospital, obstetrics and gynecology uniquely encapsulates every phase of life—birth, aging, illness, and death—which is why we chose it,” according to a Soompi report. The drama stars Go Youn-jung, Shin Si-ah, Han Ye-ji, Jung Joon-won, and Kang You-seok in the lead roles.

3. ‘Chhorii 2’

A sequel to ‘Chhorii’ which was released in 2021, the movie directed by Vishal Furia follows Sakshi (played by Nushrratt Bharuccha) as she gets caught in another terrifying situation. The story of ‘Chhorii 2’ revolves around, “Sakshi must rescue her seven-year-old daughter from a superstitious cult while fighting societal malpractices and the horror that continues to haunt her and young women around her”, according to IMDb. The movie stars Nushrratt Bharuccha, Soha Ali Khan, and Gashmeer Mahajani in the lead roles.

‘Painkili’ is a Malayalam romantic-comedy movie directed by Sreejith Babu and starring Anaswara Rajan and Sajin Gopu in the lead roles. The movie is about, “The tale of Suku, who fakes insanity to escape the law. While faking insanity, he falls in love”, according to IMDb.
