It's not over yet, 'Wednesday' season 2 is officially happening. Netflix has officially confirmed a second season of the hit series based on the beloved character. The show, which premiered in late 2022 and brought Wednesday's dark humour and macabre charm to life under the direction of Tim Burton, quickly became a global phenomenon.
However, for those eagerly awaiting Wednesday's return to Nevermore Academy, there's a slight delay. Recent casting calls suggest filming for season 2 won't wrap until November 2024. Confirmation that the new season won't be released in 2024 means fans will need to be patient. Reports from WhatsOnNetflix indicate the earliest we might see Wednesday return is Spring 2025, with the possibility of an even longer wait.
Netflix recently announced the start of production on the fifth and final season of the psychological thriller series ‘You,’ starring Penn Badgley. The streamer shared the news on its social media handles along with a photo of Badgley, who is seen crossing a street in New York City.
"Back to where it all began. The 5th and final season of 'YOU' is now in production," Netflix posted on Instagram.
