Netflix has released the much-anticipated trailer for Squid Game Season 2, promising an intense continuation of the globally acclaimed Korean thriller. Lee Jung-jae, reprising his iconic role as Seong Gi-hun (Player 456), is set to confront the deadly game with a resolute mission to end its destructive cycle.

The newly released trailer showcases Gi-hun's determined return to the mysterious survival game. Three years after his win, the protagonist has abandoned his plans to travel to the United States, instead choosing to confront the game's sinister masterminds.
"Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up going to the States and comes back with a new resolution in his mind," the official YouTube caption reveals. The trailer shows Gi-hun diving back into the life-or-death competition, surrounded by new participants competing for a staggering 45.6 billion won prize.
The series' journey to this moment began with a teaser revealed during Netflix's annual Geeked Week event in September. The clip dramatically shows Seong Gi-hun in his game uniform, signalling his unwavering commitment to dismantling the game's deadly structure.
The trailer dramatically shows Gi-hun's struggle as he attempts to protect 455 contestants during the infamous "Red Light, Green Light" game. Amidst the chaos, he battles guards in intense, bullet-riddled sequences, showcasing his resilience and determination. With each passing moment, Gi-hun’s resolve grows stronger as he vows to end the deadly game once and for all.
