With the first season racking up a mind-boggling 265.2 million views and 2.2 billion hours watched, Squid Game has become the crown jewel in Netflix's non-English content lineup.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, the creative genius behind Squid Game, shared a heartfelt message with fans, expressing his excitement and trepidation at returning to this twisted world. "On the first day we began shooting Season 2, I remember thinking, 'Wow, I can't believe I'm back in the world of Squid Game.' It almost felt surreal," he confessed.

Hwang teased a "fierce clash" between Seong Gi-hun and the enigmatic Front Man, promising that the conflict will escalate into the series finale with Season 3. "I am thrilled to see the seed that was planted in creating a new Squid Game grow and bear fruit through the end of this story," he added, assuring fans of "yet another thrill ride."

Squid Game Season 2 Plot
