Bridgerton Season 4 Shooting Locations: The global hit Netflix drama Bridgerton is back with season 4 with more romance, drama and jaw-dropping settings. Part of what makes the show so captivating is the beautiful places where it’s filmed historic houses, elegant palaces and picture-perfect towns. Many of these locations are historic buildings and parks in England that fans can visit in real life. Here’s a look at where ‘Bridgerton Season 4’ was shot and why these places matter:
One of the major parts of ‘Bridgerton Season 4’ was filmed at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, just outside London. Instead of using only real-world historic buildings, the production team built a two-acre set here with Georgian and Regency-era architecture, complete with period streets and town facades. These studio sets give the show the freedom to create detailed, controlled environments that look like 1800s London.
Shepperton Studios says, “Surrey is now home to the second biggest film studio in the world, with Amazon MGM Studios and Netflix in occupation.” This location isn’t open to the public, but it plays a big role in many street scenes and crowd sequences where on-location filming would be harder.

One of the most iconic locations in the series is the Bridgerton family residence, the elegant wisteria-covered home that appears season after season. In real life, this is Ranger’s House, a Georgian villa on the edge of Greenwich Park in south-east London. English Heritage official portal state, “Ranger’s House is an elegant Georgian villa, now best known as the exterior of the Bridgerton home in the award-winning Netflix series. The collection was gathered by the fabulously wealthy Sir Julius Wernher, who could buy the very best and had a passion for what he called the ‘splendidly ugly’ – tiny, unusual artworks expertly crafted in rich materials.”
Visitors can tour the house and explore the surrounding grounds when filming isn’t happening. The building’s grand facade has become synonymous with the Bridgerton household in the show.

Season 4 introduces a new setting for Benedict Bridgerton’s storyline: a romantic cottage in the countryside known as “My Cottage”. The real-life location used for this is Loseley Park, a grand Tudor manor and estate near Guildford in Surrey. Loseley Park’s classical architecture, walled gardens and rolling lawns made it an ideal backdrop for key scenes between Benedict and Sophie, including memorable lakeside moments shared by the couple. According to its official portal, “Loseley House is a private home and has been for over 400 years, which echoes through every room.” Some of the main highlights of this place include - George IV’s coronation chair, panels painted for Henry VIII’s banqueting tents and work by Grinling Gibbons.
The estate is occasionally open to the public for tours and special events, and its gardens are a romantic sight even outside filming periods.

For scenes involving royalty and court life, Bridgerton uses Hampton Court Palace in Surrey. This magnificent Tudor palace was once a residence of King Henry VIII and boasts expansive gardens, dramatic architecture and a historic maze.

The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London, is one of the most iconic filming locations for ‘Bridgerton Season 4’. Its grand architecture and sweeping courtyards make it a perfect stand-in for Regency-era London streets and public squares. “The Old Royal Naval College is the centrepiece of Maritime Greenwich, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a long and celebrated 600-year history. Our magnificent Baroque buildings and grounds are open to the public and are one of London’s most popular visitor attractions, welcoming over 700,000 visitors every year”, states Old Royal Naval College official portal.
In Bridgerton, the Old Royal Naval College has been used for exterior shots of streets, social gatherings, and formal outdoor events.
