Newcomer Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to make his debut in Bollywood alongside Khushi Kapoor for their upcoming romantic comedy, ‘Nadaaniyan’. The brand new dynamic duo is all set to grace the screens of viewers nationwide on OTT. The maker just announced the release date of Nadaaniyan along with a video reminiscent of the classic romcom ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hain.’ Read on to learn when will Nadaaniyan will be released and watch the new video that gives us a glimpse into the film.
Nadaaniyan Release Date
It was announced two weeks ago on February 1, 2025, that Khushi Kapoor and debutee Ibrahim Ali Khan will be gracing our OTT screens very soon in a romantic comedy, ‘Nadaaniyan.’ The announcement was made by Netflix and the cast on their social media platforms with a post that was captioned, “Every love story has thodi si nadaani. Hard launching Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor on the main. Watch Nadaaniyan, coming soon, only on Netflix.”

Now Netflix has released a clip promoting the movie and announcing its release date. Netflix posted the video on their official Instagram handle with the caption, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai aisi Nadaaniyan dekh kar. Watch Nadaaniyan, out 7 March, only on Netflix!” The video pays tribute to the classic Karan Johar romantic comedy, Kuch Kuch Hota Hain. The video opens with a classroom scene with Ibrahim and Khushi as students and the iconic Archana Singh as Ms Briganza. She starts the English Literature class with the story of Romeo and Juliet and asking students, “What is love?” Khushi Kapoor who plays her character Pia, passes the question, and Arjun played by Ibrahim Ali Khan, answers the question by calling love an “arrangement.” The video ends with Pia sending Rs 25,000 to Arjun for his answer. This last bit gives us a glimpse into the main plot of the story. Nadaaniya is releasing on March 7, 2025, and will only be available on the OTT platform, Netflix.

Nadaaniyan Cast And Plot
So far with what we can gather from the promotional videos and songs, the plot of Nadaaniyan follows the story of classmates Pia and Arjun. They start off their friendship with an ‘arrangement’ where Pia pays Arjun to pretend to be his boyfriend and soon after they develop genuine feelings for each other. The cast of Nadaaniyan features Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, and Dia Mirza, among others.
