L2: Empuraan OTT

The highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 blockbuster 'Lucifer' is finally making its digital debut after a successful theatrical run. 'L2: Empuraan,' directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, will begin streaming on JioHotstar from April 24, 2025, as announced by the platform through their official social media channels.

Written by Murali Gopy, the film brings back Mohanlal in his iconic role as Khureshi-Ab'raam (also known as Stephen Nedumpally). Prithviraj Sukumaran also returns as Zayed Masood, with a significantly expanded role in this sequel that has captivated audiences in theatres.

Veera Dheera Sooran OTT

Chiyaan Vikram's action thriller 'Veera Dheera Sooran' is set to begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video on April 24, 2025, less than a month after its theatrical release on March 27, 2025.

Prime Video India announced the release by sharing the film's poster with the caption, "One night. No rules. Only survival. A night that will change everything. #VeeraDheeraSooranOnPrime, April 24"

The film follows Kaali, a reformed criminal who runs a small grocery store in Madurai. His peaceful existence is disrupted when a conflict between police officer SP Arunagiri and Kaali's former gang boss pulls him back into the criminal underworld he had abandoned. What follows is a high-stakes chase through a chaotic night that will test Kaali's resolve.

Written and directed by SU Arun Kumar, the film stars Chiyaan Vikram as Kaali alongside SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan, and Prudhvi Raj. Malayalam viewers can enjoy the film as it will be available in multiple languages including Malayalam.

Am Ah OTT

The Malayalam film 'Am Ah,' directed by acclaimed filmmaker Dileesh Pothan, has been available on SunNXT since April 18, 2025. Initially released in theatres on January 24 to mixed reviews, the film is finding new appreciation among streaming audiences.

The 2025 Telugu action-comedy 'Mad Square,' a sequel to the 2023 film 'Mad,' will premiere on Netflix on April 25, 2025. The streaming giant has secured the post-theatrical rights for this film starring Narne Nithiin and Sangeeth Sobhan.

Along with the original cast, 'Mad Square' also features Ram Nitin and Priyanka Jawalkar. The film will be available in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles.

Tharunam OTT

For fans of Tamil cinema, the romantic thriller 'Tharunam,' directed by Arvindh Srinivasan, will begin streaming on Tentkotta from April 25, 2025. While the film received mixed critical reception during its theatrical run earlier this year, Kishen Das's performance earned widespread appreciation.
