Kuberaa OTT Release Date: Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna’s Crime Thriller to Stream on This Platform

Kuberaa has turned out to be one of 2025’s surprise box office hits. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the crime drama stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in leading roles. Released in theatres on June 20, 2025, the film clashed with Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, yet managed to emerge victorious in the box office race.

While an official announcement is awaited, Kuberaa is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video, as revealed during the film’s theatrical release.

Traditionally, films release on OTT platforms within six to eight weeks of their theatrical debut. However, Kuberaa is reportedly aiming for a faster digital rollout, possibly within a month of its cinema release.

Kuberaa’s Box Office Success

Despite the tough competition, the film crossed the ₹50 crore mark within four days, as per the Sacnilk report. The unexpected success has made it one of the few bright spots at the Indian box office in an otherwise slow year.

The film features an ensemble cast that includes Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in key roles.

About Kuberaa

The story follows Deva (Dhanush), a beggar drawn into a web of crime after being recruited by Neeraj Mitra (Jim Sarbh), a powerful businessman, and Deepak Tej (Nagarjuna), an imprisoned CBI officer. Their goal: to complete an illegal operation in Mumbai without drawing attention.

But when Deva discovers their plan to eliminate him, he manages to escape. The narrative then unfolds into a tense manhunt, with Deva racing against time to expose the dark secrets of Neeraj and Deepak.

During his escape, Deva meets Sameera (Rashmika Mandanna), a young woman abandoned in Mumbai by her boyfriend. Together, they navigate survival and betrayal in a gripping story packed with emotional and moral conflict.

With Kuberaa resonating strongly with both audiences and critics, anticipation for its Amazon Prime Video release is growing. The film’s gritty narrative, strong performances, and box office success point to another streaming hit in the making.
