Choong Ang High School is located in Jong-ro near Samcheongdong-gil and is built in Gothic style. As per Visit Korea, “The school holds historical significance because it was designed by Park Dong Jin, one of Korea's first modern architects and the designer of Korea University’s main building, library, and the Chosun Ilbo Newspaper Company building.” This is the school where Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) graduated from Jagam Girls' High School. It shares the same campus with Jagam Boys' High School, which was attended by Ryu Seon-jae (Byeon Woo-seok). However, at that time, Im Sol did not know Seon-jae.

In episode 1, viewers witnessed a stunning bridge scene where Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) sits on the sidewalk and encounters Ryu Seon-jae (Byeon Woo-seok) as a ghost. She intervenes, preventing him from crossing the bridge, fearing he'll be caught between two worlds. As per the Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea, “This bridge, the longest in the south of the Han River, was established to connect Gongju-eup and Jangji-myeon, which occupied an important location in terms of transportation. Unlike most railroad bridges constructed in Korea in the past, the Geumgang Railroad Bridge was constructed as a highway bridge, which is rare.”
The drama 'Lovely Runner' showcases numerous cafes and restaurants, with a focus on the Namdo Bunsik theme. In one scene, Ryu Sung-jae (Byeon Woo-seok) and Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) enjoy dinner together while watching sports on TV at a restaurant. This establishment has also been featured in other popular Korean dramas.

In Episode 5, viewers are treated to a delightful scene featuring Kim Tae-sung and Im Sol at the charming Sihyang, a beautiful restaurant nestled in Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. After becoming good friends, Ryu Sung-jae (Byeon Woo-seok) and Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) attend a festival together to watch a sport at the picturesque and historic Hwahongmun Gate. As per Visit Korea, “Hwahongmun Gate refers to the northern gate of Hwaseong Fortress among the two main gates installed to control the flow of the Suwoncheon Stream that cuts through the fortress. It consists of seven arched watergates in varying sizes.”
