As reported by the Economic Times, fans eagerly awaiting the film's digital release won't have to wait much longer. Devara: Part 1 is set to make its OTT debut approximately 50 days after its theatrical release. Streaming giant Netflix has secured the digital rights for the film, reportedly investing a staggering Rs 100 crore for the privilege.

Devara: Part 1 Storyline

Devara: Part 1 doesn't shy away from addressing hard-hitting social issues. The film draws inspiration from the tragic Karamchedu massacre of 1985, a dark chapter in Indian history where Dalit communities faced brutal violence at the hands of Kamma landlords. Through its narrative, the movie aims to shed light on the harsh realities of caste oppression that continue to plague society.

Devara: Part 1 Box Office Success

The journey of Devara: Part 1 began in April 2021 when it was initially announced as NTR30. It wasn't until May 2023 that the project received its official title. The film's release was met with overwhelming success, grossing an impressive Rs 161 crore domestically in just its first three days. This financial triumph was bolstered by strong performances across Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil markets.

Devara: Part 1 Cast

Devara: Part 1 marks several milestones in the Indian film industry. It's Jr NTR's first solo lead role in six years, showcasing the actor in a challenging double role. The film also introduces Bollywood sensation Janhvi Kapoor to Tollywood, marking her debut in the Telugu film industry. Adding to the star power, Saif Ali Khan makes his first appearance in a Tollywood production, taking on the role of the main antagonist.

Director Koratala Siva has assembled an impressive supporting cast, including Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, and Murali Sharma, each bringing depth to pivotal roles in the narrative.
