Reportedly, Salman will be taking a short break to shoot for his upcoming movie ‘Sikandar’. Colors TV recently took to their Instagram to announce that Singham Again director Rohit Shetty and film and television producer Ekta Kapoor will be joining as hosts in place of Saman for Weekend Ka Vaar.

Ekta Kapoor Joins Shukravaar Ka Vaar

In another video shared by Colors TV, Ekta was seen interacting with the contestants and dealing with their issues on Shukravaar Ka Vaar. “Dekhiye Shukravaar Ka Vaar Ekta Kapoor ke saath, Jahan gharwaale karenge bayaan apne haalaat (Watch Shukravaar Ka Vaar with Ekta Kapoor as housemates will express their issues in front of her).” The Instagram video was captioned.

5 Times When Salman Khan Was Replaced By Other Hosts At Bigg Boss 18
This isn’t the first time other celebrities have come to Bigg Boss 18 to fill Salman’s shoes. There have been instances where due to other work commitments, the Tiger 3 actor has to slip out of his hosting responsibilities for a brief period, while other celebrities come and deal with the contestants.
Although, Salman has been the primary host of Bigg Boss since 4th season, here are the times when other celebrities hosted the show in his place.
Farah Khan: In Bigg Boss 16, Farah Khan took over as the show’s host for the Shukravaar Ka Vaar episode and like him, talked about the fights in the house in the past week.
Anil Kapoor: In the third season of Bigg Boss OTT, Anil Kapoor took over as host from Salman and dealt with the house issues as the Dabangg actor did.
Karan Johar: Although Salman has been the primary host of Bigg Boss since the 4th season, the first spin-off of the show, Bigg Boss OTT 1 was hosted by Karan Johar, which premiered on Voot.
You can watch Bigg Boss 18 at 10 pm from Monday to Friday and Weekend Ka Vaar episodes (Saturday and Sunday) at 9 pm.
