Twitter Reactions To 'Jubilee'
From the actors' performances to Motwane's 'poetic' portrayal of the 'art of filmmaking', the netizens are all praises of the new web series. "if it's poetic it can only be #VikramadityaMotwane. While we have witnessed umpteen stories that delve into the inner functioning of yesteryear Hollywood, #Jubilee surely seems first of its kind and riveting to say the least.@Aparshakti @aditiraohydari @GabbiWamiqa . Can't wait," wrote one user.
One can only wonder how Vikramaditya Motwane pulled off a show like #Jubilee

Big ups to Amazon Prime Video for backing a project like this (its their most expensive one)
Special mention for Pratik Shah's cinematography which was operating on another level. pic.twitter.com/n7xA6BsuBY
#Jubilee: fab tribute to Golden Era Bollywood, brilliantly cast — especially Prosenjit, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta.

They've had great fun with the soundtrack, and Vikramaditya takes it well beyond nostalgia. Uneven pacing, but the performances take it through — binge watching. pic.twitter.com/ebls8zD7oc

After long, finally an Indian series that could hold my attention with its storytelling & content..& finally an actor in many years I can't take my eyes off- Sidhant Gupta - charming, intense & flamboyant. Totally lights up the screen. A star in making pic.twitter.com/WZtT8i0knN
While another wrote, "Watched the first episode of #Jubilee and it's right up my alley. Aparshakti Khurana's performance reminds me so much of the stuff that Javier Bardem used to do in his early days. Can't wait to watch the rest of the episodes."
Meet The Cast Of 'Jubilee'
Here’s an introduction to the ensemble cast of the upcoming web series and the characters they are playing in it.
Prosenjit Chatterjee
The 60-year-old Bengali superstar who has worked for over four decades in the film industry is all set to make his OTT debut with the upcoming series. He is portraying the role of a businessman-filmmaker Srikant Roy, an ambitious opportunist who would go to any extent for the sake of business. “When Vikram first came to me with the story, I instantly connected with the character of Srikant Roy. He is a person who lives and breathes cinema and has dedicated his life to it. As someone who has worked in the industry for four decades, I could immediately relate to that! Jubilee represents a glorious time of Indian cinema, and as an actor, I in a manner of speaking feel responsible for doing right by it. I don’t think there could’ve been a better series for me to make my OTT debut with!” said the actor.

Aditi Rao Hydari
The actor, who recently made her OTT debut with Zee5’s Taj: Divided By Blood, plays Sumitra Kumari, a movie star's wife with exceptional business abilities, in the upcoming web series. Sumitra is searching for love, the one thing she genuinely desires. Regarding the character, Rao said, “Sumitra Kumari has been an incredibly challenging and layered character to play. She is a star, she is powerful and has the world at her feet except for that one thing that she really wants, it’s what makes her vulnerable, and eventually becomes her north star.”

Aparshakti Khurana
Aparshakti Khurana is playing Binod Das aka Madan Kumar, a trusted aide at the studio who finds himself traversing through a series of circumstances on his way to stardom. Jubilee also marks his second web series after Disney+ Hotstar’s Kanpur Wale Khurranas. “Jubilee for me as an actor was a complete no-brainer. When I heard the story, and especially Binod’s journey, I knew I had to do this. It is one of the most challenging characters I have played to date, but also the most rewarding. Vikramaditya Motwane is a maverick, he has been able to bring out the best in not just me, but the entire cast and crew,” said Khurana.
