Cyberstalking is a serious issue and can be defined as the use of the internet or other electronic means to harass or intimidate someone. It can happen to anyone, regardless of age or gender. In simple terms, we can say cyberstalking is a form of harassment through the use of technology.”

How To Prevent Cyber Stalking?

To keep yourself safe from cyber stalking, the expert suggested keeping in mind the following -

Be Cautious While Interacting Online: Be cautious while interacting with people you don’t know or trust online. Do not share personal information with strangers.

Use Privacy Settings: Use privacy settings on social media and messaging apps to control who can see your profile and communicate with you.

Keep A record: Keep a record of any unwanted or harassing messages (sexual harassment explained) or interactions, including the date and time.

Block The Person: If you're being harassed or intimidated by someone online, block them and report their behavior to the appropriate authorities.
