The Vivo T5x 5G has officially made its debut today, targeting the highly competitive budget-to-midrange segment in India. Positioned as a direct successor to the popular T3 series, this 2026 model focuses on ‘Hyper-Speed’ connectivity and a significantly refined design language.
Vivo has maintained an aggressive pricing strategy to appeal to Gen Z and students.
4GB RAM + 128GB Storage: Starting at ₹13,999.
6GB RAM + 128GB Storage: Priced at ₹15,499.
8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: The top-end variant is available for ₹17,499.
Vivo continues its streak of aesthetically pleasing devices with the T5x. The rear features a 50MP HD Primary Camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh shots. The front camera is an 8MP sensor optimised for natural skin tone selfies. The phone launches in two striking shades, crimson bliss and celestial green.

The core strength of the T5x lies in its balanced performance-to-efficiency ratio.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, built on a 4nm architecture. This ensures smooth multitasking and casual gaming without excessive heating.
The device boasts a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. While it isn't AMOLED, the 1,000 nits peak brightness makes it highly legible even under direct sunlight.

If you are looking for a reliable daily driver under ₹15,000 that prioritises battery life and aesthetic design, the T5x is a top contender. It is especially worth buying if you are moving from a 4G device or an older budget 5G phone and want the stability of the Snapdragon 6-series.
