Markets across the country are flooded with unique designs this wedding season that cater to varied customer demands and sensibilities. Every bride wants to make her D-day a special one. The bride and groom are the centre of attraction during a wedding and they make sure they look their best. They spend a good amount of money to make sure that they look their best for their wedding. Banking on this, designers are also coming up with unique designs to lure prospective brides and grooms.
Designers are working on their toes to cater to the designs suggested by prospective brides or to come up with unique designs that have not been seen before. A demand that sees cutthroat competition in the wedding trousseau market, brides can go to any lengths to experiment with their wedding looks and leave everyone mesmerised and/or shocked.
Taking this trend of the extra mile in their wedding look, a bride has posted a statement photo for her big day. A picture doing the rounds on the internet showcases a bride adorning a quirky blouse design. The bride can be seen sporting a modern saree blouse with a sheer back that has her husband’s name embroidered on it. The blouse is a floral print pink garment which is adorned with the lines “Suraj Ki Dulhan” on its sheer back.
You think this is a one-off design? Think again. Here’s a look at brides who opted for unique and often bizarre designs for their wedding day.

Jimmy, Jimmy Aaja, Aaja
Remember the popular 80s disco song? It turns out Pooja did too. Why else would she declare her love for her beau Jimmy multiple times on the latkan of her ivory and gold wedding blouse. The latkans too shared the same colour and had little hearts and golden baubles running throughout.
The Excited Bride
This unknown bride decided to do something different and got her designer to customize a sheer blouse for her lehenga with the message ‘can’t keep calm it’s my Mehendi’. The bride could be seen sporting red danglers and had intricate mehendi designs up her elbow.
