Sushant Singh Rajput's GF Rhea Asks For CBI Investigation

It is hard to believe that Sushant Singh Rajput is no more with us. Its been more than a month now that the actor died by suicide. His sudden demise shook the entire nation and it is still getting difficult for us to believe that he has left for his heavenly abode.

On his one-month death anniversary, a lot of his fans and loved ones shared pictures with him and wrote heartfelt notes. Sushant Singh's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty also took to her Instagram handle and shared pictures with Sushant. She captioned these pictures, "Still struggling to face my emotions.. an irreparable numbness in my heart . You are the one who made me believe in love, the power of it. You taught me how a simple mathematical equation can decipher the meaning of life and I promise you that I learnt from you every day. I will never come to terms with you not being here anymore. I know you’re in a much more peaceful place now. The moon, the stars, the galaxies would’ve welcomed “the greatest physicist “with open arms . Full of empathy and joy, you could lighten up a shooting star - now, you are one . I will wait for you my shooting star and make a wish to bring you back to me. You were everything a beautiful person could be, the greatest wonder that the world has seen . My words are incapable of expressing the love we have and I guess you truly meant it when you said it is beyond both of us. You loved everything with an open heart, and now you’ve shown me that our love is indeed exponential. Be in peace Sushi. 30 days of losing you but a lifetime of loving you....Eternally connected To infinity and beyond."

Their dating rumours were doing rounds back in 2019. However, all this while, Rhea Chakraborty or Sushant Singh Rajput never admitted that they were dating.

Rhea Chakraborty Interrogated By The Police

On 18th June 2020, Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated by the Mumbai police. According to a source close to a news portal, Rhea was asked to show all the text messages between the two. Her phone was scanned properly. During the interrogation, Rhea revealed that she was living in with Sushant and the two were planning to get married by the end of 2020. She also shared that they were planning to buy a property together.

A lot of reports suggested that Rhea Chakraborty left Sushant Singh's house a day before his demise and this made the actor take such a big step. However, Rhea revealed that she had left his house a week before. She said they had a fight and then she left. However, she admitted that they spoke over calls and exchanged messages.

Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput's death, his girlfriend Rhea is being blamed for his death. A lot of social media users have been slut-shaming her and even sending her rape and death threats. Recently, Rhea Chakraborty shared a screenshot of a direct message she received on Instagram. The user messaged her that she will get her raped and murdered if she doesn't commit suicide.

Plea For CBI Investigation

Rhea Chakraborty who had never accepted her relationship with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput recently took to her Instagram handle and wrote a note to Home Minister Amit Shah and requested him to initiate CBI inquiry. She wrote, "Respected @amitshahofficial sir, I'm Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise. I have complete faith in the government. However, in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter. I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely. Rhea Chakraborty. #satyamevajayate."
