In an interview with Humans Of Bombay, Mr Tata opens up about his grandmother and how she shaped his life. He said his grandmother gave him a mind of steel and an iron back cushioned by strong ideals that called for a life of dignity.

“Our grandmother taught us to retain dignity at all costs, a value that’s stayed with me until today,” said Ratan Tata.
