The SSC GD 2025 recruitment aims to fill 39,481 vacancies across several prestigious security forces. These positions include constables in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF). Additionally, riflemen (General Duty) will be recruited for the Assam Rifles (AR), and sepoys for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)

SSC GD Constable Recruitment Selection Process

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): This test covers Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge (GK), Mathematics, and Language (English/Hindi). The CBT includes 20 questions per subject, awarding 2 marks for each correct answer and deducting 0.5 marks for each incorrect one.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates who pass the CBT will proceed to these physical tests.
• Document Verification: Successful candidates from the PET and PMT stages will have their documents verified.
• Medical Examination: The final stage involves a thorough medical examination.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment Application Fee

Women candidates, SC, ST, and ESM categories are exempt from the application fee. For all other applicants, the fee is set at Rs 100.
