Shweta Tiwari Advises Daughter Not To Get Married, Here’s Why

Shweta Tiwari is one of the most loved actors in the telly world. She has remained in the limelight for her acting chops, fashion sense, and sometimes even her personal life. Shweta Tiwari is a proud mother to two kids – Palak Tiwari and Reyansh Kohli. She shares a special bond with both of her kids.

Now, her daughter Palak Tiwari is making forays into the entertainment industry and is soon going to make her Bollywood debut.

Shweta Tiwari’s Advice To Daughter

Recently, the actor revealed what advice she has given her daughter. She said that she has told Palak that she should never get married. She told the Bombay Times that she has told her daughter that she is free to make her decisions but she shouldn’t marry anyone just because she is in a relationship.

She said, "I don’t believe in the institution of marriage. In fact, I even tell my daughter not to get married. It’s her life and I don’t dictate to her how to lead it, but I want her to think well before taking the plunge. Just because you are in a relationship, it doesn’t have to culminate into marriage. Life mein shaadi karna bahut zaoori hai aur shaadi ke bina zindagi kaise chalegi yeh nahi hona chahiye."

Shweta Tiwari Marriage

Shweta Tiwari tied the knot with Raja Chaudhary in 1999 and gave birth to Palak Tiwari a year later. The duo separated in 2007 due to Chaudhary’s alleged abusive behaviour and alcoholism. In 2013, the actor married Abhinav Kohli and they became parents of a boy. However, they also separated in 2019 on a bitter note.

On the work front, Shweta Tiwari will be next seen opposite Manav Gohil in a show titled Main Hoon Aparajita. She is excited to work with Gohil after so many years and told ANI, "I still remember, we were very young when we both started our journey on television. Now, after 15 years, we are coming back together for Main Hoon Aparajita. He is an amazing professional, and I am sure we will have a gala time shooting with each other."
