Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat found love on the reality TV show Bigg Boss OTT and soon became the star couple of the show. Their romance continued in Bigg Boss 15. Fans loved their chemistry, but there is heartbreaking news for all the fans as Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat took to Instagram to announce their breakup.

Raqesh and I are no longer together and have not been for a while, but this beautiful music video is for all the fans who've given us so much love and support. Raqesh Bapat also wrote a note on his Instagram story addressing his fans. He wrote, "I would like to share with you all that Shamita and I are no longer together. Destiny made our paths meet in the most unusual circumstances. Thank you so much to the Shara family for all the love and support. Being a private person, I did not want to publicly announce parting ways. However, I feel we owe it to our fans to put this out. I am mindful that this will break your hearts but you can continue to shower your love on us as individuals too. Looking forward to all your support. This music video is dedicated to all of you."

Their breakup rumours first started surfacing in March 2022, but the couple rebuffed the rumours immediately and assured netizens that all is well.

Now the couple has confirmed their separation. But this came as a shock to the audience as their mushy pictures recently surfaced on the Internet. However, those pictures are reportedly from a music video featuring the duo.

The couple first started dating in Bigg Boss OTT where they were contestants. Later, Shetty became a contestant in Bigg Boss 15 and Bapat entered the house as a wild card contestant but had to leave soon due to health issues.
