Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur are all set to work together for the first time in a film, Metro In Dino. The cast includes A-listers like Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Directed by Anurag Basu, with music by Pritam, the film is produced By Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu.

The film will present bittersweet tales of people's connections in today’s lives. In the movie, audiences will not only experience a brand-new plot but also see a brand-new duo of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan.
The T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, the film will showcase “bittersweet tales of human relationships based in contemporary times,” a statement from the makers read. He added, “The storyline is very fresh and relevant as I look forward to collaborating with amazing artists who bring that essence of contemporary aura with them.”

The new movie will also reunite Anurag with music composer Pritam. They previously worked on films such as Life in a... Metro and Ludo, among a few others. Anurag also said that Pritam adds life to his characters. “As the music plays a very important role in any film, I couldn’t be happier to be collaborating with my dear friend Pritam who has literally added life to the characters and story with his work,” the filmmaker said.
Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, said that “None better than dada could helm this ship. We are elated to join hands with him yet again for Metro…In Dino. While he brings about the magic with a gripping story, Pritam will be adding his charm with the music enhancing the experience entirely. We are surely looking out for this one.”

On the work front, Khan was last seen in Atrangi Re along with Dhanush and Akshay Kumar. She will be next seen with Vicky Kaushal in a movie by Laxman Utekar. On the other hand, Kapur was last seen in Ek Villain Returns along with Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria, and John Abraham. He will be next seen with Mrunal Thakur in the Gumraah movie.
