
The Samsung Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have officially made their debut in India today, March 25, 2026. Positioned as the new leaders of Samsung’s mid-range awesome lineup, these devices bring flagship-grade software longevity and refined designs to a more accessible price point. Both phones feature the new key Island design and are among the first mid-rangers to ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box.
The devices will be available via Samsung.com, Amazon, and retail partners starting next week.

Samsung has implemented a unified design philosophy with a vertical triple camera and premium design.
Galaxy A57 sports a 50MP Main (OIS), 12MP Ultra-wide-angle lens, and 5MP Macro lens. It has a more powerful Image Signal Processor (ISP), providing a better 4K video stabilisation capability. It is offered in ice blue, lilac, grey, and navy colours.
Galaxy A37 sports a 50MP Main (OIS), 8MP Ultra-wide-angle lens, and 5MP Macro lens. It is offered in white, charcoal, lavender, and grey-green.
Selfie: The devices now sport a 12MP front camera capable of 4K 30fps video recording.
The difference between the two models can be best observed in the raw performance and materials used in the build.
Processor: Galaxy A57 runs on an Exynos 1680 (4nm) processor, which is best for heavy multitasking and gaming (supports 60FPS in popular games). Galaxy A37, on the other hand, runs on an Exynos 1480 (4nm) processor, which offers a 15% increase in efficiency over the previous generation.
Display: Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, Galaxy A57 offers a higher peak brightness of 1,900 nits, making it a bit better for direct sunlight use.

Durability: Both devices have an IP67/IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Updates: Samsung has promised 6 years of OS updates and 7 years of security patches, which is a big upgrade for a mid-range phone.
