A lawsuit has been filed against Marie Alvarado-Gil, the California state senator, for allegedly forcing her male chief-of-staff into performing sexual acts with her. She reportedly threatened him with his job and asked for sexual favours over the years. As per the reports, Condit claims that Alvarado-Gil had a proclivity for oral sex and treated it as her perk of power. She fired him after he denied her request to dress up as Santa Claus. Condit is now seeking monetary benefits for the damages including lost wages, loss of earning capacity, employee benefits and damages for emotional distress.

Allegations and Lawsuit Details
According to the Sky News report, a 39-page complaint filed in Sacramento Superior Court detailed a ‘sex-based quid pro quo relationship,’ with Chad claiming he was forced into sexual acts during work-related travel to retain his job. “This was a sex-based quid pro quo relationship of unwelcome advances and sexual behaviours coupled with punishment and flexing of power,” the lawsuit stated.
The lawsuit alleged that in one incident Condit was forced into performing oral sex on Alvarado-Gil in her car which led to a debilitating back injury. The court documents reveal that Condit suffered three herniated discs and a collapsed hip due to the physical strain of the act.
