Accused Ending Explained (SPOILER ALERT)

After years of hard work, Dr Geetika had become one of the best gynaecologists in the country. With the allegations of sexual misconduct, her life started to crumble. All the years of hard work and dedication she put in to build her reputation came crashing down in days. With her career drowning in allegations daily, her life at home started getting affected, too. Her partner, Dr Meera, also started wondering if there was any weight to these allegations, leading to distance between the couple. 

As we reach the end of this psychological drama, it is revealed to the viewers that Geetika was indeed being framed. We get to know that Dr Logan had framed Geetika so he could take over the new Dean position. While Geetika had cleared her name, her marriage was now in shambles. After all that they had been through, Geetika didn’t want to give up on them. Though hesitant, Meera forgives her, inviting Geetika to join her trip to Meerut. This reconciliation signifies Meera’s decision to come out to her family, with the two committed to facing future challenges together, fueled by their deep mutual love.
