Chaitra Navratri, Ghatasthapana – April 2, Saturday

Navratri has a special significance in Hinduism. There are 4 Navratri in a year out of which there are 2 gupt Navratri. Navratri also falls in the month of Chaitra and this Navratri has a special significance. It is believed that Goddess Durga was incarnated during this time.

This time Chaitra Navratri will start from 2nd April. According to religious beliefs, this time Goddess Durga will arrive on a horse. This indicates that there may be a natural calamity or there may be an increase in miseries for the general public.

Shubh Muhurat

You can place the Kalash from 06:10 am to 08:29 am on 2nd April, Saturday.

Ram Navami – 10 April, Sunday

The festival of Ram Navami is celebrated as the birth of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram. On this day, the devotees of Ram across the country will worship Lord Shri Ram. On the day of Ram Navami, people immerse Maa Bhagwati in the water. In several Hindu families, kanjak bhoj is also held on this day.

Shubh Muhurat

Navami tithi will start at 1:32 am on 10th April and will continue till 3:15 am on 11th April. The auspicious time of worship is from 11:10 am to 1:32 pm on 10th April.

Kamada Ekadashi – 12 April, Tuesday

The festival of Kamada Ekadashi will be celebrated every year on Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. Jagatpita Lord Shri Hari Vishnu is worshipped on this day. People also keep a fast on this day for the fulfillment of their wishes. It is believed that if you want to be free from all your sins, then you should observe a fast on this day.

Shubh Muhurat

According to the Hindi Panchang, it will start on 12th April at 4:30 am and will end on 13th April at 5:02 am. The auspicious muhurat of worship on 12th April will be from 5:59 am to 8:35 am.

Varuthini Ekadashi – 26 April, Tuesday

The festival of Varuthini Ekadashi is celebrated on the Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha of Vaishakh month. It is also called Kalyankari Ekadashi. It is believed that one who fasts and worships Lord Vishnu on this day will get good results. It is also believed that on this festival, Lord Vishnu should be offered a garland of Tulsi and water should be offered to the Peepal tree.

Shubh Muhurat

This festival will start from 01:37 am on 26th April and will continue till 12:47 pm on 27th April.

Vaishakh Amavasya – 30 April, Sunday

According to Hindi Panchang, the second month of Hindi Vaishakh is very important. Shani Jayanti is celebrated on this day. This Amavasya is considered auspicious for charity and offering prayers to ancestors.

Shubh Muhurat

Amavasya will start at 12:59 am on 30th April and will end at 1:59 pm on 1st May.
